      Component without harness connected

      (Kick-down Switch)

      Measure resistance according to the value(s) in the table below when kick-down switch is ON and OFF.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Press continuously (Kick-down switch is ON) Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Release (Kick-down switch is OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the value is not as specified, replace the kick down switch assembly.
