PROCEDURE
INSPECT CHECK SHIFT LOCK OPERATION
Move the shift lever to P.
Check that the shift lever cannot be moved to any position other than P.
Turn the power switch on (IG), depress the brake pedal and check that the shift lever can be moved to the other positions.
CHECK SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON OPERATION
When operating the shift lever with the shift lock release button pressed, check that the lever can be moved to any position other than P. If the operation cannot be done as specified, check the shift lever assembly installation condition.
OPERATION CHECK
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Control the Shift Position.
Enter the following menus: User Data / B1 Oil Pressure sensor, B2 Oil Pressure, Line Pressure, Line Pressure Solenoid.
Perform the Control the Shift Position Active Test.
Read the user data.

Perform the Control the Shift Position Active Test to switch between LO and HI several times and check that the specified condition does not change.
Note
A DTC may be output if the Control the Shift Position Active Test is stopped partway through.
CHECK OIL PUMP MOTOR
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Active Test / Activate the Oil Pump (500 rpm).
Note
Make sure that the auxiliary battery is not discharged.
Enter the following menus: User Data / OPM Target Revolution, OPM Revolution.

| The OPM Target Revolution and OPM Revolution values should be almost the same. |
Note
Complete the Oil Pump Motor Active Test within 30 seconds.
If the Oil Pump Motor Active Test is performed once, further Active Tests cannot be performed for 1 minute as the motor needs to cool down.
Make sure that the auxiliary battery is not discharged.
Use an external power source if the voltage of the auxiliary battery is below 12 V. If the voltage of the auxiliary battery is low, the oil pump motor, fuse and wire harness could deteriorate or could be damaged.
Drive in EV mode (with the engine stopped) and check OPM Target Revolution and OPM Revolution in the Data List.
