RESET MEMORY
Note
If either the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly or power management control ECU is replaced, initialize the learned value of Reset Memory.
Wait 1 minute after disconnecting the negative battery terminal before performing Reset Memory.
Reset Memory can be performed only with the GTS.
Tech Tips
Disconnecting the auxiliary negative battery terminal does not initialize (clear) the learned value.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (READY) and turn the GTS on.
Note
Check that the shift lever is in P and turn the power switch on (READY).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List. Read the Data List before performing Reset Memory.

Note
Do not depress the accelerator pedal during Reset Memory.
Do not move the shift lever from P.
If the specified conditions above are not satisfied, warm up the engine with the power switch on (READY) until each data meets the specified condition.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Reset Memory.
CAUTION:
After performing Reset Memory, be sure to perform the ROAD TEST Click here described earlier.
Note
During Reset Memory, do not turn off the power switch or the GTS.
Tech Tips
Approximately 1 minute is required to complete Reset Memory.
The ECU learns by performing the ROAD TEST.
