  • The procedures listed below are for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  15. REMOVE COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the each connector.

    2. Remove the bolt, nut and cowl side junction block LH.

  16. REMOVE COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH (for RHD)


    1. Disconnect the each connector.

    2. Remove the bolt, nut and cowl side junction block RH.

  17. REMOVE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU


    1. for LHD:


      1. A000ROY

        Remove the nut.

      2. Detach the guide and remove the driving support ECU.

      3. A000RKQ

        Disconnect the connector.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A000MSM

        Remove the 2 nuts and driving support ECU.
