CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

• When the power management control ECU detects a cruise control main switch on signal from the cruise control main switch, it sends it to the combination meter assembly through CAN communication. Then the cruise control indicator light turns on.

• The cruise control indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (METER DISPLAY 1)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

   5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS. Click here.

   1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Data List.

   2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS Click here.
