RADIATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

    Click here

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

    Click here

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

    Click here

  9. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the hood lock control cable.

  10. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

  13. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK ASSEMBLY

      *1 Reservoir Tank Outlet Hose
      *2 Radiator Reservoir Tank Hose

      Detach the clamp, move the 2 hose clamps and remove the radiator reservoir tank hose.

    2. Detach the clamp, move the hose clamp and disconnect the reservoir tank outlet hose.

    3. Disconnect the wire harness clamp and detach 2 claws and remove the radiator reservoir tank assembly.

  14. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Remove the radiator hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the fan shroud.

    2. A000SLW

      Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  15. DISCONNECT NO. 2 OIL COOLER INLET HOSE


    1. A000PH0

      Disconnect the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose from the radiator assembly.

  16. DISCONNECT NO. 2 OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE


    1. A000OHU

      Disengage the clamp and disconnect the No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose from the No. 1 flexible hose clamp.

    2. Remove the No. 1 flexible hose clamp from the radiator assembly.

    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose from the radiator assembly.

  17. DISCONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE


    1. A000RDU

      Disconnect the 6 wire harness clamps, connector and No. 2 engine room wire.

  18. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (w/ Cover)

      Detach the claw and remove the 2 screws to disconnect the hood lock control cable cover.

  19. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT


    1. A000P3L

      Disconnect the 5 wire harness clamps and 3 connectors.

    2. A000SWV

      Remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support.

  20. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (w/ Cover)

  21. SEPARATE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY


    1. A000NBZ

      Detach the 2 claws and 2 guides and separate the cooler condenser assembly from the radiator assembly.

  22. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A000OQY

      Remove the radiator assembly from the vehicle together with the cooling fan assembly.

      Note

      Do not allow the radiator to interfere with other parts.

    2. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 lower radiator supports.

  23. REMOVE FAN SHROUD


    1. A000QBN

      Detach the 3 claws on the upper part of the fan shroud.

    2. Detach the 3 claws on the lower part of the fan shroud and remove the fan shroud.
