COOLING FAN MOTOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR

   
   

   1. Install the No. 2 cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

3. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN

   Note

   Do not reverse the position of the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

   
   

   1. Install the No. 2 fan with the nut.

      Torque:

      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

4. INSTALL FAN

   Note

   Do not reverse the position of the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

   
   

   1. Install the fan with the nut.

      Torque:

      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

5. INSTALL COOLING FAN ECU

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan ECU with the 2 screws.

      Torque:

      2.6 N*m  { 27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf }

   2. Attach the 3 clamps to connect the No. 2 cooling fan motor wire to the fan shroud.

   3. Connect the 2 cooling fan ECU connectors.

6. INSTALL FAN SHROUD WITH FAN

7. CONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE

   Click here

8. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the bolt and connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the fan shroud.

      Torque:

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator hose clamp.

9. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK ASSEMBLY

10. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

11. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

13. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

    Click here

14. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

15. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

16. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

17. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

18. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
