COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

    Click here

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

    Click here

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A000RBV

      Open the radiator hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the radiator hose clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and disconnect No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the fan shroud.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE

  12. REMOVE FAN SHROUD WITH FAN

    Click here

  13. REMOVE COOLING FAN ECU


    1. A000PUP

      Disconnect the 2 cooling fan ECU connectors.

    2. Detach the 4 clamps to disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor wire from the fan shroud.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and cooling fan ECU from the fan shroud.

  14. REMOVE FAN


    1. A000SIV

      Remove the nut and fan.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN


    1. A000T04

      Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

  16. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR


    1. A000SRY

      Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR


    1. A000QFS

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 cooling fan motor.
