PCV VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL PCV VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the PCV valve.

   2. Using a 22 mm socket wrench, install the PCV valve to the No. 2 separator case.

      Torque:

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      When reusing the PCV valve, inspect the O-ring.

      If the O-ring has scratches or cuts, replace the PCV valve.

   3. Connect the PCV valve hose.

2. INSTALL ENGINE COVER

   
   

   1. Install the engine cover with the 2 clips.

3. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE

   
   

   1. Connect the engine wire with the 2 clamps and nut.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
