PROCEDURE

INSTALL FUEL WITH FILTER PUMP ASSEMBLY

  *1 Fuel Pump Spacer
  
  *2 O-Ring
  
  Install the fuel pump spacer to the fuel with filter pump assembly.
2. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the O-ring to the fuel with filter pump assembly.
3. Attach the 5 claws of the fuel filter assembly to install the fuel with filter pump assembly.
  Note
  - When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
  - Securely attach the claws.
INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel with filter pump assembly.
INSTALL FUEL PUMP HARNESS
1. Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel with filter pump assembly.
INSTALL JET PUMP
1. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the jet pump.
2. Attach the claw to install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank as shown in the illustration.
  
  Note
  
  When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
3. Attach the claw to install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
  
  Note
  
  Securely attach the claws.
INSTALL FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Attach the 2 claws to install the fuel filter assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
2. Install the spring to the fuel suction plate shaft.
3. Install the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
4. Install a new E-ring.
5. Connect the fuel pump harness connector to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.
  
  Note
  
  Make sure that the claw of the fuel pump connector is attached securely.
