ENGINE UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER


    1. A000P4R

      Remove the 3 clips and clamp, and then remove the No. 2 engine cover.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH


    1. A000OTA

      Disconnect the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH


    1. A000RUZ

      Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 engine mounting bracket RH.

  5. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY


    1. A000PDR

      Remove the 5 bolts and V-ribbed belt tensioner.

  6. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE ENGINE WIRE

  8. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER

    Click here

  9. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 SURGE TANK STAY


    1. Remove the bolt and No. 2 surge tank stay.

  12. REMOVE NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

      Remove the bolt, and disconnect the 2 hoses and No. 3 water by-pass pipe.

  13. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

    Click here

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  15. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  17. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE LH

    Click here

  18. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE RH

    Click here

  19. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  20. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR SEAL

    Click here

  21. REMOVE V-BANK COVER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the bolt and V-bank cover bracket.

  22. REMOVE V-BANK COVER BOLT


    1. Remove the V-bank cover bolt.

  23. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

  24. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

    Click here

  25. REMOVE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  26. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  27. REMOVE ENGINE COVER

    Click here
