BATTERY COOLING DUCT(w/ Filter) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

    Click here

  8. REMOVE NO. 6 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

    Tech Tips

    If the message "Maintenance Required for Hybrid Battery Cooling Parts at Your Dealer" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly, inspect the No. 6 hybrid battery intake duct after removing it Click here.


    1. A000PF1

      Roll up the No. 1 room partition pad.

    2. A000MX1

      Remove the 2 clips.

    3. Remove the No. 6 hybrid battery intake duct.

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

    Click here

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT
