PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

  2. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY ASSEMBLY

      Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley assembly and loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt. Further loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt until 2 or 3 threads are screwed into the crankshaft.

      *b Turn

      Using SST, remove the crankshaft pulley and crankshaft pulley set bolt.

      Tech Tips

      Apply molybdenum grease to the threads and tip of SST (center bolt) prior to use.

  4. REMOVE TIMING GEAR CASE OR TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL

      Using a screwdriver, pry out the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal.

      Note

      Do not damage the surface of the press fit hole or crankshaft.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
