HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Pattern Select Switch Sport Mode Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When selecting SPORT mode, the switch operation signal is sent to the ECM. Following this, the drive torque is optimally controlled to obtain a sporty feel in response to the driver's acceleration operation.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. for LHD B

    4. Turn the power switch off.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    4. Check DTCs.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (PATTERN SWITCH (PWR/M))


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Pattern Switch (PWR/M).

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

  4. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      7 (P) - 4 (GND) Mode switch being turned and held at SPORT position Below 10 Ω
      Mode switch not turned 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (B) - 4 (GND) Mode switch being pushed and held Below 10 Ω
      Mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
    3. Install the combination switch assembly.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the N59 combination switch assembly connector.

    1. Disconnect the A79 and F70 ECM connectors.

    2. Disconnect the N59 combination switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
