CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Exhaust Side of Bank 1)

    A000MTN

    1. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.

  3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Intake Side of Bank 1)


    1. A000T02

      Disconnect the oil control valve connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.

  4. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2)


    1. A000OQ2

      Disconnect the oil control valve connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.

  5. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Intake Side of Bank 2)


    1. A000O1G

      Disconnect the oil control valve connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.
