HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Triple Beam Headlight) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1.

      *a	Bracket
      *a	Guide

      Set the headlight assembly LH in place and attach the guide.

   2. Connect the bracket to the seat of the screw.

      Note

      Be careful not to break the bracket.

   3. 

      Install the 3 bolts and screw.

      Torque:

      for Bolt

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      for Screw

      1.4 N*m  { 14 kgf*cm, 12 in.*lbf }

   4. Connect the connector and attach the claw to lock the connector lock.

2. INSTALL UPPER FRONT FENDER PROTECTOR LH

   
   

   1. Attach the guide and 3 clips to install the upper front fender protector LH.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (When Replacing the Headlight Assembly LH or Headlight ECU Sub-assembly LH)

   • If any of the work in the table below has been performed, vehicle information registration and initialization of the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH is necessary Click here.

   • A new headlight ECU sub-assembly LH cannot operate until the vehicle information is registered.

   • After replacing the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH, it is necessary to register the vehicle information and then perform initialization.

   • Even if the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH is replaced with a new one, vehicle information registration and initialization are not necessary.

   • Vehicle information registration must be performed with the multiplex network body ECU (main body ECU) and hybrid vehicle control ECU connected via CAN communication.
