  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE

    Standard voltage
    11 to 14 V (power switch off)

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding.

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  5. CHECK FOR DTC* (LIGHTING SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main body, HL AutoLeveling*1 or AFS*2 / Trouble Codes.


      • *1: for Single Beam Headlight without AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)

      • *2: for Triple Beam Headlight, for Single Beam Headlight with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)

    5. Check for DTCs.

  6. CHECK FOR DTC* (AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling*1 or AFS*2 / Trouble Codes.


      • *1: for Single Beam Headlight without AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)

      • *2: for Triple Beam Headlight, for Single Beam Headlight with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)

    5. Check for DTCs.
