HEADLIGHT CLEANER ACTUATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 WASHER BRACKET


    1. Clean the front bumper cover surface.


      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Using a brush or felt, apply primer or equivalent to the No. 2 washer bracket installation area.

      Note


      • Use a clean brush or felt.

      • Do not touch the front bumper assembly until the primer has dried.

    3. Peel off the release paper from the new No. 2 washer bracket.

    4. Align the No. 2 washer bracket with the mark on the front bumper cover and install it.

      Note

      The double sided tape of a No. 2 washer bracket will deteriorate if it is detached. Make sure to replace the No. 2 washer bracket with a new one when reattachment is necessary.

      Tech Tips

      Press on and install the No. 2 washer bracket firmly so that there is no clearance between the No. 2 washer bracket and front bumper cover.

  2. INSTALL WASHER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 washer bracket.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE


    1. Attach the 15 clamps and install the headlight cleaner hose.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A000SE2

      Install the spring nut to the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH.

    2. Push the (A) and attach the claw and guide as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH with the screw.

    4. Attach the claw and connect the headlight cleaner hose.
