  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Luggage Compartment Door Lock Assembly)
      *b Full latch
      *c Half-latch
      *d Open latch

      Check the operation of the luggage compartment door lock assembly.


      1. Set the luggage compartment door lock assembly to the half-latch position.

      2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the luggage compartment door lock assembly connector, and check that the luggage compartment door lock assembly close operation functions smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 8 (M+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (M-)

        		 Luggage compartment door lock half-latch → full latch

      3. Set the luggage compartment door lock assembly to the full latch position.

      4. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the luggage compartment door lock assembly connector, and check that the luggage compartment door lock assembly open operation functions smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (M-)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 8 (M+)

        		 Luggage compartment door lock full latch → open latch

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
