PROCEDURE

1. CUSTOMIZE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER SYSTEM

   The following items can be customized.

   Note

   
   

   • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

   • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

   • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

   
   

   1. Customizing with the GTS.

      Note

      When using the GTS with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:

      Connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins.

      
      

      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Back Door or Door Lock.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below:

         Back Door

         Display	Default	Content	Setting	Relevant ECU
         PBD Power Operation	ON	Turns power trunk opener and closer function ON or OFF.	ON or OFF	Luggage closer motor assembly*1 Multiplex Network Door ECU*2

         
         

         • *1: w/ Power Trunk Lid System

         • *2: w/o Power Trunk Lid System

         Door Lock

         Trunk Link with Door Lock	ON	Function that opens the luggage compartment door when the luggage electrical key switch is pressed and all doors are unlocked.	ON or OFF	Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
