  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    1. Remove the screw <F>.

    2. Detach the claw and 2 guides and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    A000NNV

    1. Remove the screw <F>.

    2. Detach the claw and 2 guides and remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

  3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

    A000NCP

    1. Detach the clamps.

    2. Remove the 3 screws <F> and defroster nozzle assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    A000QCO

    1. Remove the 3 screws <F> and No. 1 heater to register duct.

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    1. Remove the 3 screws <F> and No. 3 heater to register duct.

  6. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Ion Generator)

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    1. Remove the 2 screws <F> and No. 2 heater to register duct.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN

    1. Remove the screw <A> and No. 1 instrument panel pin.

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 instrument panel pin.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PAD BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 screws <A> and No. 2 instrument pad bracket.

  11. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PAD BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 3 instrument pad brackets.


    1. Remove the screw <A> and No. 3 instrument pad bracket.

  12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD RETAINER

    1. Remove the 5 screws <A> and instrument panel safety pad retainer.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Remove the 2 No. 1 instrument panel cushions.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION (w/o Headup Display)

    1. Remove the No. 2 instrument panel cushion.

  15. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Remove the No. 3 instrument panel cushion.

  16. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Remove the No. 4 instrument panel cushion.

  17. REMOVE NO. 5 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Remove the 2 No. 5 instrument panel cushions.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

    A000O44

    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  19. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

  20. REMOVE NO. 5 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (w/ Headup Display)

    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 5 instrument panel wire.

  21. REMOVE COMBINATION METER MIRROR ECU (w/ Headup Display)

    1. Remove the 4 screws and combination meter mirror ECU.

  22. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  23. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

  24. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 8 nuts and the installation attachment for the instrument panel passenger airbag.

    2. w/ Headup Display:


      1. Remove the 27 screws <A>.

      2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the instrument panel sub-assembly together with the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.

      3. Remove the 9 screws <A> and No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish from the instrument panel sub-assembly.

    3. w/o Headup Display:


      1. Remove the 28 screws <A>.

      2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the instrument panel sub-assembly together with the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.
