FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly)
      *b	for LH Side
      *c	for RH Side

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition for LH side d1-5 (RDC) - d1-4 (E) Tongue plate is installed Below 1 Ω for LH side d1-5 (RDC) - d1-4 (E) Tongue plate is not installed 1 MΩ or higher for RH side c1-5 (RDC) - d1-4 (E) Tongue plate is installed Below 1 Ω for RH side c1-5 (RDC) - d1-4 (E) Tongue plate is not installed 1 MΩ or higher for LH side A-2 (LSP+) - B-1 (LSP+) Always Below 1 Ω for LH side A-4 (LSP-) - B-2 (LSP-) Always Below 1 Ω for RH side A-2 (RSP+) - B-1 (RSP+) Always Below 1 Ω for RH side A-4 (RSP-) - B-2 (RSP-) Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition for LH side 5 (RDC) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is installed Below 1 Ω for LH side 1 (WNG) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is installed 1 MΩ or higher for LH side 5 (RDC) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is not installed 1 MΩ or higher for LH side 1 (WNG) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is not installed Below 1 Ω for RH side 5 (RDC) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is installed Below 1 Ω for RH side 1 (WNG) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is installed 1 MΩ or higher for RH side 5 (RDC) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is not installed 1 MΩ or higher for RH side 1 (WNG) - 4 (E) Tongue plate is not installed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly.
