PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH)

    (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (+B) - 8 (E) Automatic high beam main switch on Below 1 Ω
      Automatic high beam main switch off 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Connect a battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (ILL+) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 6 (ILL-).

    3. Check that the headlight cleaner switch illumination comes on.

      OK
      The headlight cleaner switch illumination comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.
