PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

      Remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

      Remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover RH.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  4. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

  5. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)


    1. A000VLH

      Detach the 2 clips and remove the deck trim side board LH.

  6. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

      Detach the clip, fastening tape and remove the battery service hole cover LH.

  7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK

      Remove the 4 rope hooks by pushing the claws in the direction of the arrows in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY


    1. A000VGY

      Remove the 4 bolts and 4 rope hook assemblies.

  9. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH

      1. Remove the clip.

      2. Remove the deck trim side board RH.

    2. w/o Spare Tire:


      1. Detach the clip and remove the deck trim side board RH.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 luggage compartment light assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler)

  12. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

      Remove the 3 clips.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the front luggage compartment trim cover.

  15. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

      Remove the 3 clips.

    2. Detach the 4 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.

  16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the claw and luggage compartment trim cover assembly LH.

  17. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A000UGW

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the claw and luggage compartment trim cover assembly RH.

  18. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH


    1. A000WQZ

      Detach the 3 clips and luggage door wire.

    2. A000UGC

      Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

    3. A000TCP

      Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the body LH side as shown in the illustration.

    4. A000V2OE06

      Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the luggage door hinge and body RH side as shown in the illustration.

  19. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR LH


    1. A000XBT

      Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

    2. A000TGY

      Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the body RH side as shown in the illustration.

    3. A000W5NE05

      Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage door hinge and body LH side as shown in the illustration.

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR TORSION BAR SUPPORT


    1. A000ZEE

      Squeeze the two sides of the No. 2 luggage compartment door torsion bar support indicated by the arrows and remove it as shown in the illustration.
