PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY

      *a	Component without harness connected (Luggage Door Closer Assembly)

      Apply battery voltage to the closer motor and check operation of the motor.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (M+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (M-) Clockwise Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (M-) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (M+) Counterclockwise (jam protection function operating)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage door closer assembly.

      *a	Component without harness connected (Luggage Door Closer Assembly)
      *b	Full Latch
      *c	Half Latch

      Set the luggage door closer assembly to half latch.

   3. Apply battery voltage to the closer connector and check the closer operation.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (M+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (M-) Clockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage door closer assembly.
