HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Pass the cable into the engine room.

    2. Pass the cable front side through the upper radiator support.

    3. Attach the clamps as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A000UVR

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the hood lock assembly.

    2. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    3. Install the hood lock assembly with the 2 bolts and hood lock nut.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    4. Install a new hood lock nut cap.

  4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER


    1. Attach the claw and 2 clamps.

    2. Install the hood lock control cable cover with the 3 screws.

  5. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  6. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER PROTECTOR UPPER LH
