FUEL LID OPENER SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK)

    1. Disconnect the L11, L12 and L13 ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L11-1 (GND3) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L12-1 (AM2) - Body ground W - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      L13-6 (AM1) - Body ground W - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L11, L12 and L13 ECU connectors.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L13-20 (FUSW) - Body ground V - Body ground Fuel lid opener switch ON signal Fuel lid opener switch is not pushed Pulse generation
      Fuel lid opener switch is pushed Below 1 V

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  2. CHECK LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK (REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)

    1. Disconnect the LA and LD ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      LA-43 (PGND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      LA-29 (SG) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      LD-4 (MPXB) - Body ground R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the LA and LD ECU connectors.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      S61-1 (FUO) - Body ground L - Body ground Fuel lid opener motor actuating signal Fuel lid opener motor is not actuated Below 1 V
      Fuel lid opener motor is actuated 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
