LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY(for Ottoman) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. Attach the 8 hooks.

   2. Connect the connector.

   3. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seatback spring assembly LH (lumbar support adjuster LH) to the rear seatback cover with pad with 19 new hog rings.

      Note

      
      

      • Be careful not to damage the rear seatback cover with pad.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the rear seatback cover with pad.

   4. Attach the seatback cover bracket with the nut.

      Torque:

      5.6 N*m  { 57 kgf*cm, 50 in.*lbf }

7. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH

11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY RH

    
    

    1. Attach the 7 hooks and connect the connector.

    2. Set the rear seatback cover with pad RH in place.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seatback spring assembly RH (lumbar support adjuster RH) to the rear seatback cover with pad RH with 20 new hog rings.

       Note

       
       

       • Be careful not to damage the rear seatback cover with pad RH.

       • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the rear seatback cover with pad RH.

    4. Attach the seatback cover bracket with the nut.

       Torque:

       5.6 N*m  { 57 kgf*cm, 50 in.*lbf }
