PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

      *2	Passenger Seat Reclining Switch
      *3	Passenger Seat Slide Switch
      *a	Component without harness connected (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

      Check the resistance.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 8 - 9 Passenger seat AUTO switch (FRONT) on (Pushed) Below 1 Ω 16 - 9 Passenger seat AUTO switch (REAR) on (Pushed) Below 1 Ω 8- 9 16 - 9 Passenger seat AUTO switch off (Not Pushed) 10 kΩ or higher 7 - 9 Passenger seat reclining switch (FRONT) on (Pushed) Below 1 Ω 15 - 9 Passenger seat reclining switch (REAR) on (Pushed) Below 1 Ω 7 - 9 15 - 9 Passenger seat reclining switch off (Not Pushed) 10 kΩ or higher 6 - 9 Passenger seat slide switch (FRONT) on (Pushed) Below 1 Ω 14 - 9 Passenger seat slide switch (REAR) on (Pushed) Below 1 Ω 6 - 9 14 - 9 Passenger seat slide switch off (Not Pushed) 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (power seat switch).

   2.

      *a	Component without harness connected (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

      Inspect the illumination operation.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the integration control and panel assembly connector, and check that the integration control and panel assembly LED illuminates.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 12 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → 10 (ILL-) LED illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (power seat switch).
