PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the power switch OFF.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch ON (IG).

    4. Turn the tester on.

    5. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash1 / DTC.

    6. Check for DTCs.

    7. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash2 / DTC.

    8. Check for DTC.

      Tech Tips

      As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-crash safety system, be sure to check the DTCs in Pre-Crash1 and Pre-Crash2.

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Turn the power switch OFF.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch ON (IG).

    4. Turn the tester on.

    5. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash1 / DTC.

    6. Select "Clear", and clear the data.

    7. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash2 / DTC.

    8. Select "Clear", and clear the data.

      Tech Tips

      As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-crash safety system, be sure to check the DTCs in Pre-Crash1 and Pre-Crash2.
