TELEPHONE ANTENNA REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    CAUTION:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA COVER

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. A000Z14

      Remove the washer and holder as shown in the illustration.

    4. A000YNM

      Remove the telephone and GPS antenna cover as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA


    1. A000XKVE07

      Detach the 3 claws and 3 guides and remove the telephone and GPS antenna as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. A000XGG

      When reusing the telephone and GPS antenna:

      Remove the seal.
