PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the L194 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L195 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L194-7 (VOR+) - L195-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-6 (VOR-) - L195-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-3 (VOT+) - L195-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-5 (VOT-) - L195-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L194-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L194-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L194-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the multi-media module receiver assembly with the connectors still connected.
