DESCRIPTION

The telematics transceiver checks the reception condition of the location data every minute after the power switch is turned on (ACC). If the location data is not received from the multi-media module receiver assembly for 5 minutes, this DTC will be stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      B15DB and B15DE are output B
      No DTCs are output C

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Check the installation condition.


      1. Check the USB communication cable (digital communication cable) between the multi-media module receiver assembly and the telematics transceiver for any installation or connection problems.

    2. Disconnect the L194 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    3. Disconnect the L195 telematics transceiver connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L194-4 (USBV) - L195-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-2 (USBG) - L195-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-1-2 (USB+) - L195-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-1-1 (USB-) - L195-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-1-3 (USBS) - L195-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      L195-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L195-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L195-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L195-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L195-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
