DESCRIPTION

This is the display signal circuit between the video terminal and television display assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY - VIDEO TERMINAL)


    • *1: for 4-passenger with Ottoman

    • *2: except 4-passenger with Ottoman


    1. for Roof:


      1. Disconnect the z99 television display assembly connector.

      2. Disconnect the Y3*1 or S109*2 rear seat console armrest base (video terminal)*1 or video terminal*2 connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        for 4-passenger with Ottoman
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        z99-32 (VD) - Y3-5 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω
        z99-31 (VG) - Y3-6 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω
        z99-27 (ADPI) - Y3-8 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω
        z99-32 (VD) or Y3-5 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        z99-31 (VG) or Y3-6 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        z99-27 (ADPI) or Y3-8 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        z99-30 (SGN5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        except 4-passenger with Ottoman

    2. for Center Console Side:


      1. Disconnect the R112 television display assembly connector.

      2. Disconnect the Y3*1 or o4*2 rear seat console armrest base (video terminal)*1 or video terminal*2 connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        for 4-passenger with Ottoman

        R112-32 (VD) - Y3-5 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω
        R112-31 (VG) - Y3-6 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω
        R112-27 (ADPI) - Y3-8 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω
        R112-32 (VD) or Y3-5 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        R112-31 (VG) or Y3-6 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        R112-27 (ADPI) or Y3-8 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        R112-30 (SGN5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Replace the harness and connector (HDMI cable) with a new or known good one.

    2. Check if the same problem occurs again.

  3. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the multi-display controller sub-assembly with a new or known one Click here.
