POWER STEERING ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

    Click here

  5. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE

  8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 5 clips and inlet cover.

  9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY RH

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 INVERTER RESERVOIR BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 nuts, and slide the inverter reservoir towards the engine.

    2. A000XZZ

      Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.

  11. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU


    1. Release the locks of ECU connectors A and B and disconnect the connectors.

    2. Disconnect the connector C from the ECU.

    3. A000TZO

      Remove the 4 bolts and detach the claw, and remove the ECU.
