PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD)

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

  4. REMOVE SWITCH BASE HOLE COVER


    1. A000XA4

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the cover from the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the screw.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A000YAR

      Remove the 3 screws and bracket from the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad.

    3. Remove the electric parking brake switch from the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad.
