REAR AXLE HUB BOLT REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE REAR DISC

    Click here

  4. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB BOLT LH


    1. A000VZ8E05
      *1 Turn

      Using SST, remove the rear axle hub bolt.

      SST
      09650-17011

  5. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB BOLT LH


    1. A000ZNDE03
      *1 Nut
      *2 Washer
      *3 Turn
      *4 Hold

      Install a washer and nut to a new bolt as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the hub and bearing, install the rear axle hub bolt by tightening the nut.

      Note

      Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

  6. INSTALL REAR DISC

  7. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE

  8. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

  9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

    Torque:
    140 N*m  { 1428 kgf*cm, 103 ft.*lbf }
