  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

    Click here

  5. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using a small screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the shift lock release button cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Depress the shift lock release button and move the shift lever to the N position.

    3. A000YAV

      Remove the nut and disconnect the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly from the connecting rod swivel.

  8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

    for 5-passenger with Ottoman: Click here

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT


    1. A000UZD

      Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the No. 1 console box duct.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and pull out the No. 1 console duct.

  10. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A00100P

      for LHD:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and 7 wire harness clamps from the transmission floor shift assembly.

    2. A000XY4

      for RHD:

      Disconnect the 3 connectors and 6 wire harness clamps from the transmission floor shift assembly.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts and transmission floor shift assembly.
