SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR


    1. A000WD7

      Remove the 2 screws and detach the 3 hooks. Then remove the shift position indicator from the rear upper console panel sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 TRANSMISSION LEVER HOLE FRAME


    1. A000XC6

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 1 transmission lever hole frame from the shift position indicator.

  3. REMOVE CONTROL POSITION INDICATOR PLATE

      Remove the control position indicator plate.

  4. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE FRAME


    1. A000XTW

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the shifting hole frame from the shift position indicator.

  5. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE


    1. A000V9P

      Using a small screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the position indicator light guide from the shift position indicator.

  6. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A000V12

      Remove the position indicator slide cover from the shift position indicator.

  7. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LENS


    1. A000WF9

      Detach the claw and hook, remove the position indicator lens from the shift position indicator.

  8. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A000TRT

      Disconnect the connector clamp.

    2. Using a small screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON


    1. A000U2A

      Using a small screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the shift lock release button.
