BATTERY BLOWER RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT BATTERY BLOWER RELAY

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      

      *1	Luggage Room Junction Block (Built-in BATT FAN1 and BATT FAN2 relay)

      Standard Resistance (BATT FAN1)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition LG-1 - LD-3 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals LH-1 - LD-14 10 kΩ or higher LG-1 - LD-3 Battery voltage is applied between terminals LH-1 - LD-14 Below 1 Ω

      Standard Resistance (BATT FAN2)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition LG-1 - LA-41 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals LH-1 - LD-14 10 kΩ or higher LG-1 - LA-41 Battery voltage is applied between terminals LH-1 - LD-14 Below 1 Ω

      If the resistance is not as specified, replace the luggage room junction block.
