HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HV BATTERY


    1. Remove the HV battery from the vehicle Click here.

  2. REMOVE NO. 6 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for Upper Side)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY CARRIER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for Lower Side)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

    Click here

  9. REMOVE REAR HYBRID BATTERY WITH LABEL SHIELD

    Click here

  10. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD PANEL

    Click here

  11. REMOVE NO. 8 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE CONVERTER COOLING EXHAUST DUCT

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Detach the clamp and 2 claws and remove the converter cooling exhaust duct.

  13. REMOVE CONVERTER WIRE BRACKET

    A000XO2

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and converter wire bracket.

  14. REMOVE CONVERTER COOLING BLOWER

    A000TX0

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and bolt.

    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the converter cooling blower.

  15. REMOVE HV CONVERTER POWER SUPPLY WIRE

    A000WXZ

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the nut and hybrid vehicle converter power supply wire.

  16. REMOVE CONVERTER COOLING BLOWER BRACKET

    A000WU4

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the converter cooling blower bracket.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER SIGNAL WIRE

    A000X5V

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 hybrid vehicle converter signal wire.

  18. REMOVE HV CONVERTER

    A000WOQ

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Detach the 4 clamps.

    3. Remove the 4 nuts and hybrid vehicle converter.
