HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

    Click here

  9. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER

    Click here

  10. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU

      Disconnect the 4 hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and hybrid vehicle control ECU.

  11. REMOVE ECU BRACKET


    1. A000YVW

      Remove the 4 screws and 2 ECU brackets.
