OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Remove the No. 1 engine under cover Click here.

   2. Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.

   3. 

      *1	Component without harness connected: (Oil Pressure Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - Body ground Engine stopped Below 1 Ω Engine idling 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switch.

      Put the engine in inspection mode Click here.

   4. Connect the oil pressure switch connector.

   5. Install the No. 1 engine under cover Click here.
