WATER PUMP REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  8. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE

    Click here

  11. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

    Click here

  13. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the water hose.

  14. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness.

  15. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. A000ZD0

      Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.

  16. DISCONNECT WATER INLET HOSE


    1. A000WGJ

      Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the water inlet hose.

  17. DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE


    1. A000WJC

      Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the inlet heater water hose.

  18. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING


    1. A000ZBX

      Remove the 3 bolts, water inlet housing and gasket.

  19. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY


    1. A000VEKE04

      Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

      SST
      09960-10010   ( 09962-01000, 09963-01000 )

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

  20. REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A000Y6S

      Remove the 9 bolts, engine water pump and gasket.
