CANISTER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER SUPPORT BRACKET

    A000WRP

    1. Install the canister to the bracket with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL CANISTER


    1. A000WAZE04
      *1 Nut

      Install the canister with the 4 bolts and 2 plastic nuts.

      Torque:
      for bolt
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
    2. A000YD0E02
      *1 Retainer

      Connect the air inlet line hose labeled B and purge line hose labeled C to the pipe shown in the illustration.

    3. Connect the fuel tank vent hose. Then push down the retainer to lock the claws labeled A as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • A000ZSRE02

        Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects around the connected part of the fuel tube connector and pipe before performing this work.

      • After connecting the fuel tank vent hose, check that the fuel tank vent hose is securely connected by pulling the fuel tube connector and pipe.

  3. INSTALL FLOOR NO. 1 UNDER COVER


    1. A000YYL

      Install the under cover with the 5 nuts and 5 clips.

    2. Attach the 2 hole plugs.
