FUEL PUMP(for High Pressure) REMOVAL

Tech Tips

When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 3 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)


    1. A000ZHZE03
      *1 No. 2 Fuel Hose

      Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts, fuel pump and fuel pump insulator.

    3. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel hose from the fuel pump.

  5. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)


    1. A000XEUE03
      *1 No. 1 Fuel Hose

      Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts, fuel pump and fuel pump insulator.

    3. Disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose from the fuel pump.
