FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL DELIVERY PIPE ASSEMBLY LH (FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR)

    *1 Component without harness connected: (Fuel Pressure Sensor)

    Note


    • Do not remove the fuel pressure sensor from the fuel delivery pipe assembly LH.

    • If a fuel pressure sensor is removed, replace the fuel delivery pipe assembly LH (fuel pressure sensor) with a new one.


    1. Check the fuel pressure sensor output voltage.


      1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard voltage
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 (PR) - 3 (E2) Apply 5 V between terminals 1 (VC) and 3 (E2) Approximately 0.5 V

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel delivery pipe assembly LH (fuel pressure sensor).

        Tech Tips

        The above voltage is output when pressure is not applied (0 kPa (0 kgf/cm2, 0 psi)) to the sensor.
