REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. Using a knife, cut off the lip of the rear crankshaft oil seal.

    2. A000TVD

      Remove the rear crankshaft oil seal with a screwdriver.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Note

      Do not damage the surface of the rear crankshaft oil seal press fit hole and crankshaft.

  3. INSTALL REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. A000WXJE01

      Using SST, tap in a new rear crankshaft oil seal until its surface is flush with the oil seal retainer edge.

      Note


      • Keep the lip free from foreign matter.

      • Do not tap on the rear crankshaft oil seal at an angle.
