  1. CUSTOMIZE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

    The following items can be customized.

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Customizing with the intelligent tester


      1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Wireless Door Lock:
        Display (Item) Default Contents Setting Relevant ECU
        Hazard Answer Back ON When LOCK switch on transmitter is pressed, this function illuminates hazard warning lights once. When UNLOCK switch is pressed, hazard warning lights illuminate twice ON/OFF Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Wireless Control ON Function that turns wireless door lock function ON or OFF ON/OFF Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Open Door Warning (door ajar warning)*1 ON If door is not completely closed and transmitter LOCK switch is pressed, this function makes buzzer sound for 10 seconds ON/OFF Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Trunk Lid Operation 0.8 s This function changes transmitter operation method for opening luggage compartment door 1 tim ON/2 tim ON/0.8 s/Prohibit Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Unlock 2 Operation

        ON*2

        		 Function that unlocks driver side door when unlock switch on transmitter is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Auto Lock Time 30 s Function to change time until relocking after unlocking with wireless door lock function 30 s/60 s/120 s Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)

        • *2: The default setting differs depending on the country.

    2. Customizing with the Accessory meter assembly


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door Lock Settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Door Lock Settings

        		 Function that unlocks driver door when unlock switch on electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is Off, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock On or Off Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Auto Relock Timer 30 sec. Function that regulates the interval between unlocking and automatic relocking of doors 120 sec., 60 sec., 30 sec. or Off Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Lock/Unlock Feedback-Lights On When the doors are locked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash once. When the doors are unlocked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash twice On or Off Main body ECU (Driver side junction block)
        Lock Feedback Volume 5 Bars Wireless door lock buzzer volume 0, 1, 2, 2, 4, 5, 6 or 7 Bars Certification ECU
