  1. INSPECT NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT)

    Component without harness

    {No. 2 Instrument Panel Garnish Sub-assembly LH (interior illumination light)}

    1. Connect 5 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in a series.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (+B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (LED3)

      		 Illuminates

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (+B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (LED2)

      		 Illuminates

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (+B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (LED1)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly LH (interior illumination light).
